My parents bought us a double stroller as a gift for the new baby, and boy was it useful. We took it to the Topsfield Fair yesterday. Brady gets to sit "shotgun", and Cameron in the rear. Our old carrier fits right into the back seat. We looked at quite a few models, but decided on this one because we liked the idea that it was two seats in a row, not side by side, which is way too wide.It was sort of interesting pushing it around at the fair, because we went by several new parents with their single strollers, and we knew by having a double stroller, we were instantly viewed as the experienced parents now.

You're right about the wide strollers. One lady had one yesterday in the narrow streets of Boston, and she could barely fit through the curb for the crosswalk--nearly ran someone over too trying to get by. Annoying.
