Update on Preschool

I went and picked Brady up at 11:30. He had just started crying because the teachers were telling the kids that it was time to go home and they hadn't let the parents in yet. I guess at 11:00 they went outsdie for recess and he told the teachers he wanted his mom, and wanted to go home because he was tired. He was very excited when he got in the car and told me he met a boy named nicholas, that he played in the sand table and that that he used the potty and made a ghost. All in all he did a good job! He even said he wanted to go back. I'm so proud of him! The teachers did say that he was very smart for his age and kept up with the kids no problem. He is the youngest kid in the class.

First Day of Preschool

Today at 9:00am I took Brady to his first day of preschool! This morning he told me he needed to wear a polo shirt for his first day of preschool. He had his back pack and was ready to go. he got a little teary when I told him that I was going to leave, but the teacher brought him to the window so he could wave to me and he looked to be doing well. I haven't stopped thinking about him since he left. in the short time I was there he went to a boy who was having a hard time doing a puzzle and helped him and said see you put the square in here, just like that! I think he'll do well. I have never been so anxious to go pick him up. I should be enjoying this time but I just want to be a fly on the wall. I'll update when he gets home!

The Heavy weight champions of the world!!!

Weighing in at 20.75 lbs putting him in the 16th percentile and 31 inches tall, putting him in the 78th percentile is Cameron James Stack!

In the other corner weighing in at 31.8 lbs putting him in the 52nd percentile and 39 inches tall, putting him in the 84th percentile is Brady Michael Stack!

Ok so maybe our boys won't be the heavy weight champions of the world but they are healthy! However I will NEVER bring them at the same time for a physical again. Brady freaked out because they wanted him to put on glasses for an eye test Cameron needed a nap and then they both had to get shots. They actually both did pretty well considering, but I feel like I didn't get to ask the doctor all my questions. But now that I have all his stats Brady can officialy start Preschool on monday!

Making progress

Cameron has been working hard on getting up on his knees to crawl and is also pulling himself up on everything now. (this is no thanks to the EI physical therapist who really does nothing with him) I caught him in action today!

Fall Crafts

Today I decided to do something different with the kids. we made our own salt dough, used pumpkin cookie cutters to cut out the dough, baked them in the microwave, let them cool and then painted their craetions. they had a great time, especially since I had them help make and stir the dough!

Learning to give back

On Sunday we will be walking in the making strides for Breast Cancer walk in Exeter. Our team name is Steps for Shanna. (My sister Shanna is a two time Breast Cancer survivor) . Our team will be us, of course. Shanna, Dave and Mackenzie and Alyssa. Shanna, Dave, Mackenzie and I went tagging at Walmart a few weeks back, we managed to raise about $400.00. In total with other peoples donations on line we raised about $700.00 Since we knew that Brady and Cameron would not be too ammused with tagging we thought that Brady could help in a different way, He and Brian rolled all the coins that we got and worked on his counting and sorting skills. We told him this money was for people who are sick and really need it. When we went to the bank drop off night last night he told the lady that this was for sick people! I thought that was really sweet. If there is one thing I want my children to learn is to be giving individuals of themeselves, whether it be of their time or money, I want them to learn from an early age that we are truly fortunate to have what we have!

A day at Topsfield fair

Brian and I decided along with the wicks' to journey out to Topsfield fair today. We had Mackenzie Saturday night so my sister and Dave could celebrate their anniversary(Happy aniversary!) so we decided to take Kenzie with us to the fair on Sunday. Thus began the adventure of taking 5 children to the topsfield fair! It was right around Cameron's nap time so he was a little cranky and he won't sleep in a stroller. Thankgoodness I took the snugli as that seemed to work to get him over his naptime slump. We had the wagon for Brady and Mackenzie, the single stroller for Cameron and the wicks' had their double stroller for David and Shaun along with their bjorn. At one point, I had Cameron in the snugli, Pam had shaun in the bjorn and all three older kids decided to walk, so there we were, three modes of transportation and not one child in them, We walked in single file at one point so as not to take up alot of room and someone commented that we looked like a train. I digress... It was actually a good day! the kids got to see the animals and the huge pumpkins and we all got some fresh air! It was a beautiful day!

Happy Birthday Brady!

Birthday Party Fun!

Sunday we had the boy's birthday party at the house for 40 of our close friends and relatives. We had pizza, cake, watched the Pats beat the niners, and had a great time! Too bad the Sox couldn't close out their series.
